Five rooms, one curriculum

Every classroom runs the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum - research-based, age-appropriate learning across literacy, numeracy, science, social-emotional, art, and music - with weekly themes pulled from the natural world. Tuition varies by program; ask us for the current rate sheet.

Infants · 12 wks – 12 mo

Brightwheel infant track: predictable feed and nap rhythms, daily reading and music, sensory exploration, and one-on-one language modeling.

Toddlers · 12 – 24 mo

Brightwheel toddler track: early language modeling, finger paints, music circles, gross-motor play, and storytime. Daily milestones in the Brightwheel app.

Two-Year-Olds · 24 – 36 mo

Brightwheel 2-yr track: vocabulary growth, color and shape recognition, blocks, dramatic play, and beginning self-help skills.

Preschool · 3 – 4 yrs

Brightwheel preschool track: letter and sound recognition, number sense, beginning writing, science, art, and music - with weekly nature themes.

Pre-K · 4 – 5 yrs

Brightwheel pre-K track: reading readiness, sound-letter mapping, number sense to 20, beginning writing, and a portfolio that walks into kindergarten.

Assessments & conferences

Week-one developmental assessment for every new child, and one-on-one parent-teacher conferences every six months. No surprises.

Family Connection

Stay close to your child’s day.

A great daycare is more than a drop-off. We host center events, themed classroom parties, and post a monthly calendar so families always know what’s happening at school.

Our front door opens onto West Main Street. Our backyard is shaded by trees the Newark Country Club has tended for over a century, and First Presbyterian’s playground is a short stroll away. We do field trips down Main Street, story time at the library, and we send our families home with the season’s farmers market schedule.
