Rising Sun is one of those towns where kids still ride bikes to the park. We try to bring that same feel into the daycare day - mud-friendly, walkable, run by people who actually live nearby.

Worth the drive if Newark is on your route anyway.

Many Rising Sun families work in Newark, Wilmington, or along the I-95 corridor. If that’s you, our spot on West Main is the natural daycare drop-off. From Rising Sun proper you’ll take MD-273 east through Calvert and Fair Hill, crossing into Delaware; the drive is calm, mostly two-lane, and runs about 25 – 30 minutes door-to-door.

We’re a small, locally owned program at 292 W Main St, Newark. Five age-specific rooms, capacity 80. Open 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. UD employees get 10% off weekly tuition.

From Rising Sun

Rising Sun town center: ~28 min via MD-273 E through Fair Hill.
Calvert / Sylmar: ~25 min via MD-273.
Conowingo-line / Rt 1 area: ~32 min via MD-273 / I-95 N.
Pleasant Hill / Bayview: ~30 min via Bayview Rd to MD-273.
Fair Hill NRMA: halfway point - lovely morning drive.
