Bear’s daycare options have grown, but they trend toward big-box centers along Rte 40 with cinder-block playgrounds. We’re the alternative: small, locally owned, with the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum and real outdoor recess on grass under century-old oaks.

From Brennen Estates, Fox Run, Pencader, or Glasgow, you’ll take Rte 7 or 896 north toward downtown Newark. That puts our front door 12 – 18 minutes from most Bear neighborhoods - especially convenient if your job is on the UD campus, at Christiana Hospital, or off I-95 in Wilmington.

We license up to 80 children across five age-specific rooms (12 wks – pre-K). Hours run 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.
