Now Enrolling for September
Newark, DE

A Newark daycare on the block where Newark grew up.

We’re right on West Main, a short walk from the Newark Free Library and across the way from First Presbyterian’s playground. If you live or work in Newark, we’re already part of your day.

For Newark families

Built for the Newark daily commute.

Newark families have specific routines: drop-off before the UD shuttle gets crowded, an afternoon stop at Trabant or the Co-Op, evening soccer at George Wilson. Our hours (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and our spot at 292 W Main St were chosen with that day in mind.

We serve infants from 12 weeks, toddlers, two-year-olds, preschool, and pre-K - five rooms total, capped at 80 children once we’re fully staffed in September. Group sizes meet or exceed Delaware OCCL ratios.

Our daily routine is simple: morning meeting, focused work from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum, family-style snack, weekly nature-theme activity, lunch, rest, and outdoor recess. Newark gives us playgrounds at First Pres and George Read Park, the Pomeroy Trail for short walks, and the farmers market on the green - all woven in throughout the year.
