The closest nature daycare to Bloom Energy and UD STAR

STAR Campus runs new-economy Newark: Bloom Energy fuel cells, the College of Health Sciences, the FinTech Innovation Hub, NIIMBL, the Tower at STAR, the Audion Therapeutics line, and the rotating DuPont and bioscience tenants. The one thing it doesn’t have inside its footprint is a small daycare. We’re three minutes away, which is about as close as you can get without a STAR Campus address yourself.

From the STAR Tower, the Audion lab, or the Bloom Energy fuel-cell facility, the drive to 292 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711 runs north on S College Ave for about three minutes. One turn onto Main and you’re at our door. Drop off, walk back to your bench. UD employees, including STAR-based staff and grad students on payroll, get 10% off weekly tuition.

Five classrooms, license cap of 80, ages 12 weeks through pre-K. Daily lessons come from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum. Nature themes change weekly and draw on White Clay Creek, the Pomeroy Trail, and our backyard. The kids go outside every day weather lets us. We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
