For Newark families

Built for the Newark daily commute

Most Newark families have the same morning. Drop off before the UD shuttle crowds Main Street. Grab coffee at Brew HaHa or the Co-Op. Cut over to work on campus or hop the 95 north. We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at 292 W Main St.

We have five classrooms: infants from 12 weeks, toddlers, two-year-olds, preschool, and pre-K. Our license caps us at 80 children once we’re fully staffed. Class sizes stay within Delaware OCCL ratios.

The day runs on a steady rhythm. Morning meeting, then lessons from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum. Family-style breakfast. The week’s nature activity. Family-packed lunch. Rest. Afternoon snack. Outside before pickup. We use Newark for the outside part too: First Presbyterian’s playground next door, and walking field trips to local parks for our Pre-K class.

  • Downtown Newark / UD Green: a few blocks east on Main St.
  • Cherry Hill, Westfield, Devon: ~5 min via Cleveland Ave.
  • Glasgow / Pencader: ~12 min via 273 W or 896 N.
