Most Newark families have the same morning. Drop off before the UD shuttle crowds Main Street. Grab coffee at Brew HaHa or the Co-Op. Cut over to work on campus or hop the 95 north. We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at 292 W Main St.

We have five classrooms: infants from 12 weeks, toddlers, two-year-olds, preschool, and pre-K. Our license caps us at 80 children once we’re fully staffed in September. Class sizes stay within Delaware OCCL ratios.

The day runs on a steady rhythm. Morning meeting, then lessons from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum. Family-style snack. The week’s nature activity. Lunch. Rest. Outside before pickup. We use Newark for the outside part too: First Presbyterian’s playground next door, George Read Park, short walks along the Pomeroy Trail, and the farmers market when it’s running.
