Newark High is one of three comprehensive high schools in the Christina School District and one of the oldest schools in the state, graduating its first class back in 1893. A high schooler doesn’t need daycare, but a lot of our families have one at Newark High and a baby or toddler at home at the same time.

We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for children 12 weeks through pre-K. Lessons come from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum with a new nature theme each week, and the kids go outside daily when weather allows.

Our address, 292 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711, is about a 1.6-mile drive from Newark High, mostly along DE-273. Five classrooms, a license cap of 80 kids, Delaware OCCL ratios.
