Close to Newark Charter, built for the sibling still at home

Newark Charter runs a K–12 Core Knowledge program across two campuses: the Primary and Intermediate School on Patriot Way for kindergarten through 8th grade, and the Senior High on McIntire Drive for 9th through 12th. Enrollment runs through Delaware’s charter lottery, and we know plenty of families juggle that process alongside a much younger child at home.

We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for children 12 weeks through pre-K. Lessons come from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum with a new nature theme each week, and the kids go outside daily when weather allows.

Our address, 292 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711, is about a 2.9-mile drive from the Patriot Way campus and 3.1 miles from the McIntire Drive campus, both mostly along Elkton Road. Five classrooms, a license cap of 80 kids, Delaware OCCL ratios.
