Forest Oak is a Red Clay Consolidated School District school serving kindergarten through 5th grade, off South Meadowood Drive. It’s the furthest of the district elementary schools we’ve built a page for, and we want to be upfront about that: it’s a real cross-town drive, not a quick hop.

We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for children 12 weeks through pre-K, which gives you margin on both ends for the longer drive. Lessons come from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum with a new nature theme each week, and the kids go outside daily when weather allows.

Our address, 292 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711, is about a 5.1-mile drive from Forest Oak, mostly along DE-2/Capitol Trail. Five classrooms, a license cap of 80 kids, Delaware OCCL ratios.
