Text messaging (SMS) terms
Program
Newark Nature School uses text messaging to talk with families who contact us about child care.
Messages are sent by our director and staff, not by an automated marketing system.
Messages you can expect
- Prospective families: replies to your questions, tour scheduling and reminders, and updates about availability, enrollment, and the waitlist.
- Enrolled families: school-related updates such as closures, schedule changes, and reminders.
- Job applicants: updates about your application, interviews, and onboarding.
How you opt in
You agree to receive text messages from Newark Nature School when you text us first at (302) 461-7474, when you
check the optional text message box on one of our website forms, or when you tell us in person or by phone that
we may text you. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of enrollment or employment.
Message frequency and cost
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to opt out or get help
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We’ll send one message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed, and you won’t receive any more texts from us.
- To start receiving texts again, reply START.

Personal information by text
We prefer not to share personal information over text. Any specific information about your child will be collected
in person, over the phone, or through a secure link in our Brightwheel parent portal. Please don’t text us your
child’s health or medical details.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.

Waitlist and enrollment
Joining our waitlist or sending an inquiry does not guarantee a spot or a start date. Enrollment is confirmed only
when you sign our enrollment agreement. Tuition, fees, discounts, and school policies are set out in the enrollment
agreement and parent handbook, and those documents control if anything on this website differs.
Discounts
Discounts, including employer and sibling discounts, require verification and are confirmed at enrollment.
Forms you submit
Please give accurate information and only submit forms for children you are the parent or guardian of.

The text, photos, logos, and flyers on this site belong to Newark Nature School. You may share links and our flyers,
but please don’t copy or reuse our content for other purposes without permission.
