Near W.L. Gore campuses

A nature-based daycare on the Gore commute corridor.

W.L. Gore associates live across Newark, Bear, Hockessin, Pike Creek, Elkton, and the Cherry Hill MD line — and work at a half-dozen Gore campuses between them. Newark Nature School sits squarely in the middle of that corridor.

For W.L. Gore associates

Newark to Elk Mills, with one drop-off in between

Gore campuses are spread across the area: the Cherry Hill plant on Sunset Lake Road in Newark, the larger Elk Mills campus in Cecil County, the Cherry Hill MD operations, and the Bracebridge complex near Elkton. Most Gore associates live somewhere on that arc, from Hockessin and Pike Creek in the north through Newark and Bear into Elkton and Rising Sun. Our address at 292 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711 sits inside it.

That means a 5-minute drop-off if you work the Cherry Hill Newark plant, a 15-minute drop-off on the way to Elk Mills, and a 20-minute drop-off on a Bracebridge or Cherry Hill MD run. One daycare for the whole household, not a chain of suburban facilities along Rte 40.

We’re a small, family-owned school with five classrooms (12 weeks through pre-K) and a license cap of 80. Lessons come from the Brightwheel Experience Curriculum, and we pick a new nature theme each week. The kids go outside every day on actual grass. We’re open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
